Hello all,

For thousands of years humans lived with out much reliance on the precious energy resources we consider so vital today. It has turned in to a mighty addiction for people all over the globe. We fill our automobiles, boats and planes with fuel. We heat and cool our homes with power generated at natural gas and coal plants. Everyday we consume and use millions of products manufactured from or with the help of our worlds finite supply of energy resources. Yet as we live this way, there are communities and individuals scattered throughout the world that don't share this energy dependent lifestyle. Some people live this way by choice but many do not. A great deal of people live with little reliance on energy resources because of economic or geographic conditions. I will admit to embracing this energy dependant lifestyle for too long. It is time for us to realize that the world's energy resources are finite and will not last forever. I am making lifestyle changes big and small so my children and others will be able to enjoy the world as I have.
