I am a Masters student at Queen's University in Kingston, ON. I am
seeking individuals interested in participating in research interviews
for a master's thesis. Participants, located in the greater
Philadelphia area, should be actively involved in getting their food
through means that primarily do not include the grocery store at least
during the growing season. If you agree to participate in this part
of the study, each interview will last approximately one hour and
there will be, at most, one session per week for the extent of the
research period. This is a short-term study ending in May of this
year. Your overall level of involvement will be determined by how
much time you feel comfortable giving and how long it takes to reach
information saturation. The interviews will feel like a conversation,
where you will be asked some questions, and then encouraged to talk
for as long as you like. If you are comfortable, the interview will
be recorded on a tape recorder.
