Climate Change: What it Means for Burlington

Fred Stoss, MS MLS, and members of McMaster University’s Student Math Action

Research Team (SMART), will explain clearly the science of climate change on

Wednesday 25 April 2007, 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the Burlington Central Library, 2331

New St. Burlington. Admission is free.

Fred Stoss, MS MLS, zoologist, environmental information specialist, and University

at Buffalo science librarian, worked in the Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis

Center and the World Data Center for Atmospheric Trace Gases at the US Oak

Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee.

One of 800 people trained by Al Gore and The Climate Project, Stoss will present a

clear explanation of the science behind the Academy Award Winning film, An

Inconvenient Truth, specially developed for Burlington residents.
