E-CYCLE FOR EARTH DAY

HOW IT WORKS:
EcycleNW will pick-up, transport, and recycle Electronic Waste. Electronics are disassembled into their
component parts which are then resold to processors who have certified adherence to United States
export control regulations and restrictions. Customer is responsible for ensuring that any
proprietary data or software has been removed from any equipment received by EcycleNW.
EcycleNW will be happy to remove/return old hard drives for $4.00 each.

WHAT TO BRING:
Old or broken desktop computers, laptops, stereos, VCRs, TVs, scanners, telephones,
Answering Machines, cell phones, etc. Hard drive removal is available at
the time of the event. Plastic bags and shrink wrap donated for free.

WHAT IT COSTS: DEPENDS ON ITEM OR SIZE
This is a fundraiser for Sequim Middle School PTSA. The PTSA will receive a portion of the monies based
on what type of item is donated. EXAMPLE: Computer Monitor under 17” will cost $15; Printers under
45lbs. $8.00. Cell phones, Palms, Answering Machines, etc are $3.00 each. Stereos, VCR’s, Scanners
are $5.00 each. TVs 20”- 27” are $22.00. Laptops are $15.00. A complete fee list will be available at
drop off.

ENTIRE COMMUNITY WELCOME!
The Sequim Middle School PTSA is working with E-CycleNW for a healthier community.
A Portion of the proceeds will benefit Olympic Parks Institute for incoming 6th graders.
Items recycled are tax deductible for the charitable portion.

Earth Day E-cycle

Great idea. I will try to remember to promote this at the April 14th City Council Meeting. Do we have any other local Earth Day activities planned?
