This is the Clallam County program equivalent to the means the Jefferson County folks used to make initial inroads on organizing neighborhoods. I believe they’ll give support to anyone who wants to organize their own neighborhood.

PREPAREDNESS BEGINS AT HOME and in the neighborhood
Three training classes are available through our Emergency Mangement Division. The Getting Ready training is a six hour course and the CERT Training (Community Emergency Response Team) is a twenty hour course. The newest course to be introduced is MYN or Map Your Neighborhood which is a ninety minute course to organize neighborhoods to respond in the first hour of a disaster when lives can be saved by quick action. Courses are designed to be taught in your neighborhood with a trainer and materials we supply.
