Energy Descent Planning begins

Body:

Tomorrow 16 people will begin the very first Time for an Oil Change course and the first Sunshine Coast Energy Descent Action Plan.

The ten-week part-time course has been designed to generate community-led, positive, practical solutions and action strategies in response to peak oil and climate change.

The response has been excellent, as we only used word of mouth to get the message out. We have our local government on board and supportive of the concept and it's all systems go.

We look forward to delivering the first installment of the Sunshine Coast EDAP to regional decision makers at the end of the course and starting to see the changes happening to prepare for our post carbon future.

We even having bookings for the next course and are considering running another at the end of the year due to demand. Will keep you posted as the course (and the plan) develops.
