FARMING WITH A HORSE BASED. ORGANICALLY FOCUSED, ANIMAL ORIENTED SYSTEM
September 23 - Instructors: Owner/Operators Lise and Ellen Hubbe and Nancy Sowdon at Sweetwell Farm in Scio, Oregon

A demonstration class on site at SweetWell Farm Scio,Or.
-Draft horses - how to run a farm using them
-Equipment, harnesses, wagons, plows, etc.
-Growing your own feed, storage, milling etc.
-Rotational fencing
-Field rotations
-Integrating cows, poultry and pigs
-Necessary infrastructure and economics.

Directions will be sent to you when you pre- register. Allow approx. 45 minutes from Corvallis for travel time. Class will start at no later than 10:15 due to the amount of subjects to cover!

10-3pm, $25/each @ the door, $40/ couple (domestic life partner) , $20/college student, bring lunch, water and hat.
