Hi Everyone --
We're throwing the second annual Green Cycle Food Gardnening Workshop. And we'd like to send you an invitation.
The workshop will be help at our place this year. On a long, pie shaped, south-facing slope in beautiful North Vancouver lies the Green Cycle Urban Agriculture secret main compound of operations. We'll hook up the address if you reply.
We will learning about:
-composting, sheet mulching, season extension
-seed sowing, seed saving and transplanting
-fruit tree and shrub care
-double digging, organic fertilizer use, soil mixing for pots
-construction of essential garden items such as cold frames and compost bins
-other more random material will also be covered.
-our gardening influences range from permaculture to the conservative
We had a load of fun last year, so don't worry about that. It's good times. We'll be supplying lunch (vegan, vegetarian) and tea/coffee breaks. Unfortunately, Vancouver lost its Queen Mother of gardening, Diane Falvey, but she'll surely drop by in spirit.
The cost is $70 per person for two days:
March 24th and 25th from 10am to 4pm.
Please email us if you'd like to book a spot or if you have any questions. info@greencycle.ca
And check out our recently updated website for more information.
Thanks so much, looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Max Thaysen and Ryan Nassichuk.
