Good for the Gettin’ Gleaning Project
“Farm Fresh Food for Families in Need”
*** “Gleaning” is the act of gathering fresh produce left in the field after harvest. ***
* Visit local farms and gardens to pick fresh fruits and vegetables that would otherwise not be used.
* Produce will be donated to local Food Banks and meal programs
* Low-income Volunteers may take some produce home with them
* Families welcome. Carpooling encouraged. Transportation assistance available.
