About the Philippines
Our members come from different parts of the Philippines, but most are based in Metro Manila which is urban :
Biggest Land Area: Quezon City (166 square kilometers)
Smallest Land Area: Navotas (9 square kilometers)
Largest urban area (population): Quezon City (1995) 1.9 million
Highest population density: Manila - 43,205 persons per square kilometer
Lowest population density: Pateros - 5,529 persons per square kilometer
It's a typical large city but with more poverty apparent than you'd find in the U.S., Japan, or Europe.
