Ahoy, Lifeboaters!

Well, this one slipped up on me and I'm down to the wire in letting you know about it. Monday's show features Sally Erickson and Tim Bennett whose film What A Way To Go: Life at the end of empire just came out and is available on DVD. www.whatawaytogomovie.com It's a very moving film and I think you'll find Sally & Tim to be charismatic, comforting, comfortable and vindicating.

In the film, Tim takes viewers on his personal journey of awakening to the global nightmare facing us. His confusion, his research, his
disappointment and anger and frustration, and finally his soul-searching decision regarding where he goes from here --presented with a wry sense of humor and wonderfully ironic film clips and graphics -- all reach out and grab us by the hand, pulling us through common ground and into the need to act.

In our interview, Tim and Sally discuss what brought them to making the film and how their research has prepared them for the "what to do" question in their own lives. We'd also like to let all of you know about a training we will be offering through our nonprofit, Titanic Lifeboat Academy, called Leadership in Sustainability Training. We are hoping for a few people with the
