Just a brief reminder that tomorrow at 5:30pm in the School of Arts Building on Bourbong Street we'll be holding our 3rd movie night! (Note: we'll be in the gallery, across the hall from our normal room.)

We'll be showing two very informative films- the Story of Stuff (following "stuff" from extraction, production, distribution, consumption to disposal) and "There's No Such Thing As Away: Managing Waste," my interview with Bundaberg Waste Management officer James Stanfield. Each movie is only 20 minutes long, which will give us plenty of time to talk about all the ways we can enjoy life with less STUFF!

Remember, I'll be taking photos at the movie night, because I've confirmed that we'll be featured in the "Bundy Buzz" section of the NewsMail on Saturday February 9! This will be a great opportunity for us to generate interest and enthusiasm for all the good things SustainaBundy has planned, so come along, put your mug in front of the camera, and let everyone in town know that a sustainable Bundaberg is important to you!

Looking forward to seeing you there!

really exciting developments!

It's official, tonight's movie night is a success and it hasn't even happened yet! Just in the last couple of days our RSVP list has leapt to 30 enthusiastic people coming along to show their support.

Yesterday the Bugle asked me to submit some articles about and from the upcoming guidebook - look for them in the Bugle on Thursdays!

Also yesterday, ABC Wide Bay Radio called and interviewed me about the guide and about our recent grant from BMRG. I'm told it will air sometime today or tomorrow, so have your ears open!

Funds and artwork from advertisers continue to trickle in for the guide and we're planning to send it off to the printer on February 4!

Dean and I have also started brainstorming the idea of a day-long movie festival... stay tuned for more details!
