Our group was formerly a Meetup Group -Group #53.

We used to meet in the Richmond District in San Francisco, but we relocated to our more convenient venue, one block off of Market Street and closer to public transportation.

We meet on the second Wednesday of Each month, at the American Friends Service Committee building at 65 9th Street, between Market and Mission, at 7:00 PM.

We are one of two groups operating in San Francisco, collaborating closely with our friends at Post Carbon SF.

We will be moving more information to this site, which will probably house some REDUNDANT (mirrored) information.

WE - hold screenings, host speakers, produce flyers and information pamphlets, and work to raise awareness of the Peak Oil predicament with our elected officials, our neighbors, and our friends. We offer a framework for those who want to begin the difficult work of transforming our society to achieve as graceful a "Power Down" as possible.
