Public Buildings article

There is an interesting article on how public buildings are keeping city centers alive and thriving in the Planning Commissioners Journal (2003). The Saratoga Springs Post Office, City Hall, and Public Library are featured prominently on pages 3 and 4 of the PDF document.

Link to the article is not working. RE: Public Buildings One concrete thing any city can do to support your outpost, regardless of its financial situation, is to make the City Council chambers available for post-carbon meetings, educational presentations and screenings. Most cities have a chamber that includes seating, microphones, a screen (or wide-screen T.V.), and a projector. Also check out libraries for smaller meeting rooms that may be reserved for free. All that is required for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.
