It's my birthday and its time to get this show on the road.

It occurs to me that there are MANY talented and knowledgeable people out there. We know about permaculture, mediation, and teaching. We are able to inspire a culture of greater self reliance regarding healing, eating, entertainment and getting along together.
An alternative to this empire on the brink of implosion: mind droning TV (they even call it programming!), soul sucking employment, poison food and medicine from who knows where and financial enslavement to an increasingly military state.

I don't know what to do about it.

Sometimes it feels like it has taken all my strength not to succumb to overwhelming implications of it all -depressing-...and to pay the various loans and get some frozen food in me.
Certainly anyone reading this blog is aware of Peak Oil’s ramifications. Is anyone else crazy that the rest of the flock is not paying attention?!

So the answer for me this morning is to get with people like me: people ready to be powerful for love, community, and humanity. What will these people do?...connect, inspire, encourage, sharpen and support: synergize.
And potlucks maybe.

I am super grateful and in admiration of Mrs. Lindsay's heroic and sustained efforts and a few other local giants who are living it but perhaps not yet sharing it in a big way.

So I'll be blogging raw, seeking resonance and refinement.
