Free Skool is COOL!

Kudos to Mary D for posting the Free Skool information. (http://santacruz.freeskool.org/)

I attended Tim Krupic's Intro to Bee Keeping last weekend.
Got stung, met great people and enjoyed a super introduction into the art of Bee Keeping.

Three things to share:

1) Its too late to get bees commercially....so if anyone sees a swarm settling down please call me: Eric 238-1008.
(I have oodles of flowers, nearby eucalyptus for winter, and would love a bunch of sweet housemates who keep everything in order)

2) We must teach eachother. Its fun. (In class Tim let me explain the use of an epi-pen & antihistamines just in case of ample bee stings). None of us knows as much as all of us and we can't even know what eachother know!
Sharing knowlege is an expression of love.
I am grateful for the class. This year or next I hope to share experience.

3) There is only so much honey one can ethically take from a hive. As tax time has come and gone I have thought about this parallel extensively. Seems with trillions reported missing and no signs of accountability in government the FED/IRS may be using taxes as a control of inflation while casting out the easy credit only to reel us in later having taken the bait. The Creator endowed each honey bee with but one life/stinger to make sure the keepers of the hive have a little respect.

Ahh, Springtime always makes me think of the Birds, the Bees and the Bill of Rights.
