Northwest Regional Permaculture and Bioregional Gathering

The Gathering is perfect for people having New Culture skills to share and people who want to learn skills for eco-logical living. The Eugene Permaculture Guild organizes the event but this year is expanding its outreach to Cascadia and beyond to invite participation from others with skills and experience to be part of developing the tracks and program by way of internet "guilds." These guilds can be a valuable tool for connecting people with particular skills and interests.

Tracks will include, Health and Well Being, Media and Education, [Sub]urban Land Use, Social Forestry, Culture and Ritual, Local Food Security, Personal Potential, Economic Conversion, A New Paradigm, Rural Interests and more. Please see our web site, www.eugenepermacultureguild.org to see the complete list of tracks and who to contact for particular tracks. You can also see images and program for last year's Gathering.

The event is low cost, about $50 for the programs and vegetarian meals. There will be various accomdations in the neighborhood ranging from modest cost to free. Work trade available. Please leave all pets at home, we strongly encourage coming by bike, train, bus, car pooling.

The 3/4 acre suburban Gathering site is well into developing its long range permaculture site plan. There is a beautiful straw bale meeting space, small pond, swales, gardens, grey water system and more. Within walking distance are 3 other conversion sites featuring grass to garden, concrete removal, rain water systems, solar redesign and more.
