Third Regional Bay Area Post Carbon and Affiliate Network Meeting

Body:

We're approaching our 3rd regional meeting, set for September 30th at the Potrero Community Center* from 10 am to 4 pm with a special evening session from 5 to 8 pm for Peak Oil women.
Hope you have your calendar set, as we have a terrific day scheduled.
The purpose of this event is to support each other in this very hard work of relocalizing our communities.

Please note, we can only give each group 5 minutes to speak during the sharing period at 11 am. Decide before you come who will give the talk and keep it to the essentials.
Last time we had quiet a bit of feedback on setting limits on the sharing time, this is an effort to do that.

During the sessions we can break out and chat about our experiences more.
Also note: The session topics at this point are flexible. If you'd like to facilitate a session, contact me ASAP so I can make a final agenda sooner then later.

The cost for the regular 10-4 day is $10 and the cost for the evening is $5. No one will be turned away for lack of funds, just contact me ahead of time.

I'm thinking of asking for no PowerPoint presentations, as they take up alot of time.... what's the consensus on this? Let me know.

Remember it's a potluck for lunch and dinner. There is a fridge for us to store food til supper and a stove to heat stuff.
Also, let's make this a zero waste event... please bring your own dishes, etc.

Please contact me, Contact Deborah Lindsay, via my contact page to confirm your attendance.
If there is anyone who has been left off this list, please forward.

    Cheers!
