Wimberley Relocalizes!

Post-Carbon Wimberley became a part of the bigger, relocalize.net family today, September 6, 2006. Jonathan Crain and I (Marcus Gitterle) are the nominal leaders, but what is really at the center of our little "movement" is a very healthy nucleus of professionals, artists, teachers, engineers and visionaries that have already made Wimberley a place to watch in the peak-oil and permaculture, "subculture." Case in point: Sustainability and Stewardship of the Earth, a community education grant supported course, will begin tomorrow, here in Wimberley at the Community Learning Center (@ Katherine Anne Porter Charter High School).
