Confronting Climate Change and Overcoming Cynicism This Sunday 6 pm**
If you saw An Inconvenient Truth or have been keeping up with research on Climate Change, you know that we are headed for disaster in the not-so-distant future unless we change our rates of consumption and environmental destruction. If we are really going to make an honest effort at change (and our survival depends on it), then we need each other. Let's
get together, talk, share our ideas and then support each other in taking action. CHILDREN WELCOME!
This is a Freeskool Quadruple Header Weekend! Start with the FreeSkool Picnic on Saturday and end with this interactive workshop Sunday eve. See you there!

More than any other threat that we are fed by mass media, the phenomenon of global climate change stands to effect all life on the planet and displace over 100 million people in as little as 50-60 years.
This two-part workshop will focus on:
1) exploring your own preferences, talents and barriers to taking action, and then brainstorming ways you can be most effective in your efforts to
curb global warming;
2) offering practical strategies for people who want to fight the trend of
global climate change and environmental destruction.
WHO: This workshop is for everyone. Friends, firefighters and
fourteen-year olds. Geologists, guitarists and goof balls. Hopis, HVAC
operators and HIV+ people. You get the picture.
This is our earth. We all have to share it and live together. Let's come
together and share ideas and strategies for living more simply and
responding to climate change crises.
Feel free to bring snacks and beverages.

This class is FREE, but the information we share and the connections we
make are PRICELESS.
