Permaculture provides a model for gardening that emphasizes ecological sustainability through observation and design.

Post-Carbon Oakville is holding a meeting to discuss the possibility of setting up community gardens in Oakville, and to provide a brief introduction to permaculture.

Post-Carbon Oakville (formerly the Post Petroleum Action Committee) is looking for ways Oakville residents can reduce their dependence on fossil fuels through community-building projects.
