Statement of Intent

Our mission is to turn crisis into opportunity by spreading information and awareness around the issues of peak oil, climate change, and the other threats that are now facing humanity; to help communities in and around the Ohio area to begin the process of relocalization; to promote the ideas of permaculture, earth ethics, and bioregionalism; and to build a healthier and happier world for future generations in the Ohio area and around the country and world.

In order to do this we are actively organizing the first "Bioregional College," hosting montly "Relocalization Congresses," and have put together a "Relocalization Wiki" to promote and spread the ideas and strategies of relocalization. Please visit our website (www.ohiopeakoilaction.org) to get your own "Starter Action Kit" and to sign up to become a Relocalization Leader in your community.
