Would like info on rice growing

A few of us in the Humboldt County Peak Oil Action Group are looking for information on how to grow rice in Trinity County. Does anyone have any experience or know farmers who we may talk with?

thanks for the info. We are more interested in growing what is called upland rice, or just plain rice. If you run across anything in you research on that it would be great to hear from you. Thanks again.
