I'm curious how much land you used for your barley and your lentils? What was your harvest? How many lbs?
I grew garbanzos, Mexican Red, black, urad dal, adzuki, mung and a wide variety of pole beans this year for drying. The only viable beans were the Mexican red, black and pintos. These were all grown in Trinity County which has weather such as yours.
several of us in the Humboldt Peak Oil Action Group are interested in trying to grow rice. Also, anyone in your area growing wheat and oats?
