The attachment is the card in word format for the invitation to join Sustainable Burlington. I print it on card stock so it's more substantial. Four invitations on one 8.5 x 11 sheet. The second attachment is a sign up sheet for use at an event where you want to pass a sheet or leave it on the table at the door.

This is the text of the card:

SustainableBurlington is citizens cooperating to develop and renew local sustainability by building community links. Sustainability, simply put, is living well within the Earth’s means.

Relocalization helps us reduce our energy consumption and dependence on big-scale energy sources. It helps us avoid pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. It promotes local production of goods and services, especially food and energy. It cultivates healthy local commerce, governance and culture.

SustainableBurlington undertakes educational and pilot projects such as cooperative ventures, food gardening, local energy conservation and sourcing, and green city advocacy.

Our mission is to prepare ourselves and our community for the increasingly scarce energy world we live in.

The Relocalization Network enables shared resources, best practices and experiences across North America and is a key initiative of the Post Carbon Institute in Vancouver Canada.
