Ecological Design and Beyond

In a rare local appearance Christopher Zelov, founder of the Knossus Project, will make a multi-media presentation called: Ecological Design and Beyond, at the Doylestown Bookshoppe, 16 South Main Street in Doylestown, PA.

Using footage from his award-winning film: Ecological Design: Inventing the Future, along with his forthcoming production: City21, Zelov will take us on a cinematic journey into regenerative futures beyond the dominant paradigm.

Ecological Design: Inventing the Future, is an extraordinary educational documentary film which illuminates the emergence of ecological design in the 20th century. The film features the ideas and prototypes of pioneering designers who have trail-blazed the development of sustainable architecture, cities, energy systems, transport, and industry.

The companion book, Design Outlaws on the Ecological Frontier, is one of the best overviews on sustainable design and the potential of intelligent design to rescue humanity from the twin perils of global warming and peak oil. It should be required reading for anyone who has an interest in leaving a livable planet for their children and grandchildren.

Join us for an unusually vibrant discussion, and book signing.
