I want to know what an interesting and good book to read that illustrates living in the wild (North- Western Nevada area), that may come in handy when Peak Oil is impossible for society to ignore (food and resource riots, anarchy). I do not know what it would take to live in the wild, or where areas of the United States or North and South AMerica, that would be a nice sanctuary until the hoards kill themselves off or what have you. I am educated daily the threat of Peak Oil, but I do not know what I will have to do, or how I can prepare myself when that day comes. I want an easy introduction into living off the land, and perhaps a strategic place to hold up. Thanks.
