Sustainable solutions is a new environmental network for Barton Hill, the Dings, Lawrence Hill, Newtown, Redfield and Upper Easton

The network’s aims include:

• Informing groups about each other’s activities: dates of events, meetings, training etc.
• Informing them of related events, courses, news within and outside of the area.
• Sharing resources with other local groups
• Facilitating networking events with a social awareness raising function eg Al Gore’s film followed by discussion
• Coming up with solutions for improving the area and identifying potential projects
• Initiating projects such as energy saving advice for local people with groups such as the timebank.
