Washington County Peak Oil Public Meeting

MEETING TOPIC: PERSONAL PREPARATION
Presented by Cal and Lisa Perrine and Peter Lunsford.
Cal, Lisa and Peter have moved to Portland in the past year, bringing experience and knowledge with them as leaders of an Austin, TX, peak oil group called Crude Awakening. They have been working with peak oil issues for 3+ years and have a great deal to share with us. Their presentation will be on personal preparation, what each of us need to start doing for ourselves and our families, in light of peak oil.

We will be meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, and we certainly hope to have you with us again. Please bring a friend or two and plan on listening, questioning, talking and learning.

6:30pm social greeting time, and the meeting starts promptly at 7:00pm.

Light Rail: Orenco Station/NW 231st Ave. Then walk east on Alder St. until it turns right at 228th. Then one block south to Birch street and it's there on your left.

Tri-met Bus: Route 47.

Car: From HW26, take Cornelius Pass exit south to Cornell. Turn west on Cornell and turn left on 231st. Proceed south on 231st to Alder. Turn left on Alder. The church is located on the corner at Birch and 228th. NOTE: IF YOU ARE DRIVING WEST ON CORNELL, THE INTERSECTION WILL SHOW 229TH FOR TURNING RIGHT, WHICH YOU MAY SEE IFIRST AND YOU THINK YOU ARE NOT AT THE CORRECT INTERSECTION. BUT IT IS ACTUALLY 231st ON THE LEFT!! SO TURN LEFT THERE!!
