Updates on peak oil will be presented and discussed for the first 30 minutes, followed by reports and planning of individual and group projects for personal preparation, public education and government influence. "Peak Oil Prep - Three Things You Can Do to Prepare for Peak Oil, Climate Change, and Economic Collapse," by Mick Winter, will be used as a guide throughout these Education-Action meetings over the next several months.

This month, following the update, our discussion will be on "energy & politics" (wonder why!?!) We are a non-partisan organization but politics affects us all. Host of the discussion will be member Bob May on the positions of our presidential candidates regarding energy. We will then end with further planning of activities or projects we will be doing as a individuals or as a group to further education and preparation around peak oil issues.

We hope to develop energy and interaction around ideas, endeavors, and plans we are generating as individuals and as a group. Do join us!
