First off I would like to thank the people who have set up this wonderful web site... Linking people at the grassroots level... And im so proud of all the people that are taking this head on! I cant help but think that in my lifetime, I will see some very unplesant things... our species is on the verge of non existance. And i hate to say it but i fear people more than anything on the planet. There is this apethetic indifference shared by so many people. "If it doesnt directly affect my life why should i care" Or we have the denial group. "thats not true" or the simple "i dont believe you" but most frightning of all are the people who know. They know it all. They have known it. They continue to know it. but they keep it, and conceal it, and use disinformation to pull the proverbial wool over so many people's eyes.. im only 18 years old and ive already had enough of this bullshit! Within the next few weeks i plan to start a local group whos goal is to share info about peak oil. I live in rural illinois so a group of this kind doesnt exist for quite a long way..... i guess this isnt really a forum topic.... its more of a tea fueled rant actually... But i would like some feedback on how to start a local group.... im sure some of you have done this yourselves... and would be very happy if you would share advice on where to get started. damn i need to go to bed its 4:16 am.
