Sustainable West Seattle is a newly forming group of West Seattle citizens who desire to make a difference locally—working with our neighborhood to become more self reliant while using fewer natural resources.

Sustainable West Seattle's shape and activities will reflect the talent and interests of those who come along for the ride, but it aims to provide resources and outreach for the West Seattle neighborhood on issues such as:
· Eating Locally
· Energy Efficiency
· Local Transportation Solutions
· Green Building
· Green Space Protection and Advocacy
· Sustainable Landscaping and Gardening
· Water Conservation

We urge you to invite others in West Seattle who you think would be interested in joining such a group to sign up for our announcement list above. We also want to know if you cannot come but are interested in the group, since we would value your input.
