A Talk, Panel, and Town Meeting
Discussing climate change, peak oil and all energy, population rowth and social justice

Guest Speaker: "The Truth About Everything" presented by author Richard Brenne, a 1974 graduate of Beaverton High School. He received his degree from UCLA film school and taught in South Central Los Angeles where he won the Jack Nicholson Award for Screenwriting for his screenplay about his experience. Now Richard is publishing his book "The Truth About Everything" and traveling the 50 states where he'll deliver 300 talks and town meetings to help the public understand sustainability issues.

Panelists include:

Glaciologist Andrew Fountain, a foremost expert on all the glaciers of the American West, including the last glacier to advance in the 48 states in the caldera of Mt. St. Helens, which has gone into retreat like the vast majority of the world's glaciers. Andrew studies glaciers in relation to climate.

Physicist Todd Duncan, with degrees from Cambridge University, his Ph. D. from the University of Chicago and founded the Science Integration Institute. Todd looks at all our energy options though the clear lens of science.

Portland Permaculture Institute Co-Founder Pam Leitch, a lawyer with a long working history in health care, Pam is an expert at the solutions that all include our working in harmony with nature, not against it.

A Q & A session will follow for you to ask questions or provide feedback on issues you care about.
