Hi everyone,
Congratulations; we made it to the FINAL contest on ideablob.com!!!!
Thanks to everyone who voted in the "primary"; for the Year Round Home for the Lane County Farmers Market idea on ideablob.com.
We are now in the "general election".
We ended the "primary" with 210 votes. I know we are going to need at least 5 times (1000 plus) that many votes to win the final.
We have some stiff competition and this morning I can see many votes coming in for our competition already.
The Final contest runs from May 21 to May 31. All votes will need to be in no later than 10:00 PM; Saturday May 31.
To vote for the idea go to: http://www.ideablob.com/ideas/2281-Year-Round-Home-for-the-Lane-Co
Anyone that is over 18 can vote in the contest. You do not need to live in Eugene to vote for our idea. You do not even need to live in the US to vote, anyone over the age of 18 can register and vote. This gives us broad latitude in networking our idea any and everywhere.
****You can only vote for ONE idea in the final.****
If you have not voted previously and you are not registered on the site you will need to:
1. register by creating a username, password, and email; you DO NOT have to give them your address, city or state, you can SKIP that page by clicking on the "skip" at the bottom of that page.
2. Ideablob.com will send an email to you with a confirmation link that you must click to confirm your registration, once your registration is confirmed you can then vote for the idea: http://www.ideablob.com/ideas/2281-Year-Round-Home-for-the-Lane-Co
This would be so amazing for our community. A safe, sustainable, Local food supply crosses all ideologies and is good for EVERYONE in the community.
Let's use our networks to their best potential and ask at least 5 to 10 of our friends to support and vote for bringing forth the REAL possibility of creating a Year Round Home for the Lane County Farmers Market.
If you have any problems registering or voting PLEASE email Erin at: ideablob@elyorganics.com
The sooner you let me know about this the quicker I can get it taken care of with the Tech people at Advanta.
Thanks so much everyone,
Erin Ely
