People have been asking whether the presentations from WED will be available to the public.
To read Mayor Lorraine Pyefinch's opening speech, click here (PDF, 50kb)
To see Fiona Waterhouse's presentation called "Towards a low carbon, cleantech economy", click here (PDF, 850KB)
To see Rick Haywood's presentation called "Preserving our natural environment", click here (PDF, 2.5MB)
The Australia's Inconvenient Truth presentation is best reviewed by watching Al Gore's movie Inconvenient Truth movie or reading the book- both of which are hopefully available in the Bundaberg library. Trevor Glass's presentation on local food was largely from handwritten notes so won't be available for download, but we hope to have him as a guest speaker at a SustainaBundy meeting soon!
Look for video from the WED celebration to be posted on the website and on our YouTube page soon!
Great day, well done. I know you guys put in a massive effort.
Do either of you (or anyone else reading this) have any more photos of Five Days Late?
I have the one you put on the site, and the one with the got local sticker, but i wanted to get them all so i can send them on to the band. They appreciate any photos of them, especially since they're only really starting out at the moment.
Congratulations on a wonderful event - you should all feel soooo very proud of organising such a splendid mix of information and entertainment we can't wait for the next one!
