In this talk we will look into why past cultures collapsed, such as the Western Roman Empire, and make comparative analogies to modern day civilizations, especially the United States.We will discover that history does indeed repeat itself.Topics discussed will include warfare and the industrial military complex, budget deficits,Peak Oil, the abuses of corporate power, climatic change and environmental and population stress.
