World Naked Bike Ride will happen twice a year - join the northern hemisphere on June 7th.

We will meet at 11:30pm and ride at midnight
Monroe Park, 10th Ave. and Monroe St.
come costumed, painted - Naked!
wear a helment, have a bike light and obey traffic laws
chanting encouraged, as well as bubbles.
And with luck, DescenDance will perform amazing fire dancing again. drummers welcome!

Naked Bike Ride is about many things
Pushing the social construct that nude bodies are shameful
Protesting oil Dependency
Raising Awareness that Pedalers are naked on the road with cars... no protection
Celebrating our love of Bicycles
Encourage people to ride bikes instead of drive as much as possible

we encourage people of all shapes, sizes, and colors (purple?)

We are loving, supportive, fun, celebratory, and practical. We aren't saying Kill your car, but use your bike as much as possible. Japan has cars that drive 200 miles per gallon - why can't we have that technology? Push the oil companies, and until then "Less Gas, More Ass!"

the cops will not officially be informed, but they never take us off guard. However, I would appreciate it if EVERYBODY followed traffic laws and respected your fellow cyclists.. last time many people got ticketed for a small handful of people's cockery.
